KDSV-25 is a pourable, condensation curing 2-component silicone rubber with high elasticity for replicas using cast ceramic, plaster, polyester and polyurethane resins (please use priming wax as protective film with epoxy resin).
As both component batches are matched to each other, we only supply complete batches. It is not possible to obtain individual deliveries of silicone and hardener.
- Good flowability
- Fast vulcanisation at room temperature
- Good tear strength and tear propagation strength
Mixing ratio: 100 : 2 parts by weight component A : component B

Mixing ratio: 100 : 4 parts by weight component A : component B
Processing time: 7-9 minutes
Demouldable after: 45-60 minutes
Dyeing: R&G Universal Color Pastes (colour differs because of the basic colour of the silicone)
Mixing viscosity: 18.000 mPa·s
Density: 1.08 g/cm³
Shore A hardness: 25
Tensile strength: ≥ 4.0 N/mm²
Elongation at break: ≥ 500 %
Tear resistance strength: ≥ 27 N/mm
No heat of reaction occurs during vulcanization, so that even larger quantities (e.g. 10 kg) can be poured without the risk of overheating.
If heat is added during curing (e.g. in a heating cabinet or oven), the vulcanization time is reduced by half at a temperature increase of each 10 °C. Heat thus accelerates the cross-linking reaction. The maximum recommended curing temperature is 70 °C.
