KDSV-25 is a pourable, condensation curing 2-component silicone rubber with high elasticity for replicas using cast ceramic, plaster, polyester and polyurethane resins (please use a wax release agent as protective film with epoxy resin).
- Good flowability
- Fast vulcanisation at room temperature
- Good tear strength and tear propagation strength
Technical data:
Standard:
Mixing ratio: 100 : 2 parts by weight component A : component B
Processing time: approx. 40 minutes
Alternatives:
In order to achieve optimal results, we recommend mixing ratio 100 : 2 or 100 : 3
Processing time (100 g in a cup at 23 °C, humidity 50 %):
100 : 2 = approx. 40 minutes
100 : 3 = approx. 30 minutes
Colour: White
Dyeing: R&G Universal Color Pastes (colour differs because of the basic colour of the silicone)
Mixing viscosity: 15.000 ± 2.000 mPa·s
Shore A hardness: 25 ± 2
Tensile strength: > 4.9 N/mm²
Elongation at break: > 480 %
Tear resistance strength: > 31 N/mm
Shrinkage (after 7 days): ≤ 0.3 %
No heat of reaction occurs during vulcanization, so that even larger quantities (e.g. 10 kg) can be poured without the risk of overheating.
