Hardener for Resin Elan-tech® AS 89.1
Two component high performance adhesive from Elantas based on epoxy resin suitable for bonding large structural parts. Due to its thixotropic formulation thick, uneven and even vertical adhesive joints could be realised.
Specifically developed for bonding CFRP parts, even though other materials could be used as well.
Processing time (at 25 °C): 135 minutes*
Mixing ratio: 100 : 45 parts by weight resin : hardener
- High lap shear strength (up to 39 MPa at CFRP according to ASTM D 1002)
- High impact strength and peeling strength
- Temperature resistance (Tg) up to 90 °C (2 h at 85 °C)
- Thixotropic formulation (fills gaps up to 10 mm)
- Low exothermic reaction and shrinkage
Processing is very easy due to the application with a dosing gun. Mixing errors could be excluded through this also.
